<p>Well that&#8217;s not true &#8211; there just wouldn&#8217;t be anyone around to witness it.</p>
<p>In a family owned business conflict takes on an additional element, we&#8217;re related to each other and when you get under my skin there are limited options available to me.</p>
<p>Their demoralizing management style grates on you but there is little you can do about it.</p>
<p>And if it&#8217;s a subordinate that&#8217;s defiant and troublesome &#8211; you can&#8217;t fire them when they are your sister, cousin, nephew, or uncle.</p>
<p>These sorts of conflicts are a normal part of life on the farm.</p>
<p>The key to proper resolution of these inevitable conflicts is having a set of rules and practices to tip the momentum of your conflicts toward a mutually beneficial resolution.</p>
<p>The place to start when implementing meaningful conflict resolution is with the individual. Each individual is always first responsible for the way they interact within their work environment.</p>

<p>An honest productivity assessment would uncover just how productive your efforts are.</p>
